Becoming a Support Volunteer

Are you a cancer survivor willing to lend a hand to other cancer patients?

Every day, hundreds of people receive the shocking news of a cancer diagnosis.  Most patients attest that the hardest period of time is immediately following a diagnosis.  That’s where you can help.  Patients need to hear about treatment, hope and recovery from someone who has been there.

Cancer Hope Network needs volunteers from all over the United States to become Support Volunteers, particulary the tri-state region of NY, NJ, and PA.   Any cancer survivor who is post treatment twelve months or longer, and cancer survivors who have experienced recurrences, can become regular Support Volunteers.  Cancer survivors whose condition is chronic can become a Renew Support Volunteer.   With very little time commitment, you can help patients get through treatment with practical information that will give them hope to return to a normal life.

As a volunteer and based on your schedule, you would determine how much time you can commit to being a Support Volunteer.

If you are a good listener with a positive attitude and a willingness to share your own cancer experience, you have the capacity to become a great Support Volunteer for Cancer Hope Network.

Here’s your chance to give back.
