e-HOPE: News and notes from CHN

One on one support for adults dealing with cancer

Founded as CHEMOcare in 1981, The Cancer Hope Network is a not-for-profit organization that provides free and confidential one-on-one support to cancer patients and/or their family members.

We do this by matching patients and family members with trained volunteers who have themselves undergone and recovered from a similar cancer experience.

Through this matching process, we strive to provide support and hope, to help patients and family members look beyond the immediate diagnosis of cancer, cope with treatment, and continue to live life to the fullest.

We strive to make a difference by connecting people who have shared experiences.  We ensure quality in this process by training volunteers, defining rules of engagement and opening new lines of communication.
